Hazel the HareGoyle

Hazel the HareGoyle by Sarrah Wilkinson - A polymer clay sculpture of a gargoyle in the shape of a hare.

Hazel is... well, I was going to say a bunnygoyle, but that just didn't fit. He's a sleek, agile hare and deserves to be recognized as such! Looks a bit like the jackrabbit we get visiting our front yard now and then. (And yes, I love Watership Down, if you were wondering. :) )

Hazel is made from a particular type of polymer clay with flecks of color in it that make it resemble granite. I also did some texturing on the surface and a wash of black acrylic to bring out the details, as well as some touches of mossy green.

Hazel has been adopted on 2/10/2014!
