3 Character Animation Tips in Clip Studio Paint (Video Series)

This is a set of 3 videos that build on the same subject: character animation in the art program, Clip Studio Paint.

All three are also combined into one big tutorial in text form over on Clip Studio Tips, if you prefer.

This first tip is about how to duplicate a frame on your animation timeline so you can edit the copy without affecting the original cel.

The second video covers the basics of lip syncing, as well as using the new audio scrubbing feature in CSP version 3.0. Here's a copy of the viseme chart I talk about in the video - feel free to download it for your own use!

The last video in the series covers how to combine animation styles in CSP, using both frame-by-frame animation folders and keyframe animation that allows you to control the position, rotation, scale, and opacity of objects, but has the program fill in the in-between frames for you. Combining these two animation types can give your characters a lot of motion and life!
