Big Cat Skull Mask
Another skull for the collection! I sculpted this face mask to resemble the skull of a big cat such as a jaguar or leopard, with large curved fangs and a fierce, yet realistic appearance.
The cast mask on the left is one of my wolf skulls, alongside the sculpture for the big cat skull, to show a comparison between the size of the two masks. The cat skull is sculpted using Monster Clay, and I used a set of my pre-made fangs for the big teeth, like I describe here: Tip: Using Pre-made Objects while Sculpting

The moldmaking process was pretty much my usual - Several layers of Rebound 25 silicone, and a rigid mother mold made out of Free Form Air. However, the big teeth on this mask meant that I had to do the mother mold in three parts to prevent it from getting stuck on the interior silicone mold. (I later went back and redid the mold for the wolf skull the same way.)
