Stylized Resin Owl Masks

These are resin-cast, stylized owl masks done in a masquerade style, with detailed feathers and large open eye-holes. The design is my own, sculpted originally in an oil-based clay called Monster Clay.

Once the sculpture's complete, I make a mold using Rebound 25 silicone, and then create a rigid mother mold from Free Form AIR (not pictured).

And finally, here's what the finished, cast mask looks like! This was cast using Smooth-Cast 65D, a type of rotocasting plastic.
